Is it normal that i'm often having severe panic attacks?

Well, testing is today, and the next three days, I didn't think It would cause me such terror..While I was in the testing room, about halfway finished with the test, I felt a wave of anxiety, I shrugged it off and figured i'd try to take it easy...Then about a half of a minute later, I felt another wave of anxiety. I exused myself and went to the bathroom, I felt a tad better after..But now, all the things that never made me have anxiety, are making me feel anxiety, like talking to my boyfriend.

Is It Normal?

  • Those aren't severe panic attacks. You just sound like an overly dramatic person. Research severe panic attacks...educate yourself.

  • Duh, of course it's not. Not to be rude, but since when are medical conditions normal. Common, perhaps, but normal? Give me a break, you know it isn't.

  • No no no meds!! Not unless you truly believe you need them ! See a doctor of course, but talk first, see if it's isolated and something you can work out! If you start taking meds, you'll start relying on them and then the next thing you know, you'll be on them for life just to simply cope! It's one thing if you truly need it, another if you don't! They are addictive and affect your brain and shot term memory! You can also try natual herbs and stuff like primrose. Try and find a way, people are so quick to push meds, it doesn't have to be like that! GL

  • Do therein lies the issue, whatever it is you are needing to talk to your bf about is causing you stress and your body is trying to expell it! If you don't get it off your chest, it won't go away
