Is it normal that i'm obsessive over films?

Well for a while now I've had this extremely strange obsession over fast and furious and the hunger game. To most people they are films but for some reason to me they mean a lot more. Every spare second of the day I'm even trying to be like certain characters in the films or I'm thinking about how I want to be apart of them? After I've watched either of these films I'm disappointed that they are finished but I'm happy because they are such great films! I'm seriously confused and well,I'm just wondering am I normal?

I'm sure there is a threshold where movies go from being called movies to being called films.
Aside from the fact that those two films were not shot on film, I don't believe either film passes that threshold.

  • In certain films I felt like I could completely relate to the characters. It's almost like I developed a certain form of respect for the character as if they were real. I haven't seen a good film in awhile though.

Okay, I know exactly how you feel. I'm in love with the Hunger Games. I do my best to act like Katniss and support Peeta. In one night I spent 4 1/2 hours watching interviews and finding information about Josh Hutcherson. I started a month long war in my class: Peeta vs. Gale (I was captain of Team Peeta- yes it was that big a deal.) I bought a Peeta stand up poster and got "engaged" to it lol. I obsess over the Hunger Games. You are not alone. It is normal.
