I don't have social anxiety but I do have difficulty knowing how to relate and understand other peoples emotions which can cause communication problems.
I would recommend doing things anyways if you can. Most things are simpler when you arent afarid of failure because the only true failure is to not try.
I can give you advice on making female friends.
Talk to girls you have similar interests and be their friends the same way you are with male friends. forget about sex and be thankful to spend time with female friends, enjoy your time regardless if you have sex and just forget about sex.
How? A good solution is regular masturbation. When I go out, I jack off first, so that sex isn't even on my mind. Stop caring if you get laid that night.
When you get your mind off sex you can focus on life. You can develop meaningful relationships with people that aren't based on superficial sexual attraction.
Once you establish friendships you can ask out girls which sometimes leads to sex, but dont feel entitled to it.
I will say I am not an expert at dating or sex but I do know how to make friends. If all you want is sex my advice may be useless and I would have no idea what to advice.
