Is it normal that i'm not obsessed with my boyfriend?

I really like my current bf (both for his appearance and his personality) but I feel like I can't muster up enough romantic feelings for him. I felt the same way about my last boyfriend.

Until about a year ago, the only thing in the world I cared about was GETTING a boyfriend, because I'd never had one even though I'd had a few sexual partners and "things". It had never been official.

Is it weird that I don't like. Text him cute things all the time? Or obsess over him? I can go a few days without running into him and I'm not terribly distraught. All I care about is that he genuinely likes me and doesn't get with other girls.

Am I a bad girlfriend? I do everything he wants and more... ;)

    It's normal. Having a boyfriend, or girlfriend doesn't mean that you need to be obsessed with them. It sound's like you have a pretty healthy relationship with your boyfriend. It sound's more mature, and not as much of a puppy love thing. Obsessing over someone is not real love. In fact, it's not love at all.
