Is it normal that i'm not at all scared of dying?

I'm not suicidal. I always here people are scared of dying and the fact that ceasing to exist terrifies them in some way. Whether that be that fact that life goes on without them or that they just don't exist anymore. For some reason, I just don't find the thought of me being dead scary. I know that if I did die, I literally wouldn't be able to think about it or anything. I'd just be some matter without a conscience. The only aspect of it i'm scared of is pain..

    That's the Stoic perspective, but you're conflating death with dying. You say you're scared of pain and suffering, which are often part of the dying process. Hence you probably are scared of dying, just not death itself.

    I am religious and know their is a existence after this, so "death" doesn't scare me. The process of dying is a little daunting, depending on the circumstances. In fact I can't wait to reach death. The idea of not having to suffer anymore is a constant comfort to me. And before you ask I need to care for someone still, so suicide is out for now.

    I used to think I was like that... But now I honestly believe everyone is a little scared of dying, they just haven't realized it yet. I fail to understand how the thought of ceasing to exist doesn't terrify you.

    I'm similar Although dying to me is scary if I haven't done what I want to do in my life first
