Of course. You might have social anxiety, though? It's increasingly hard to deal with being a bit of an introvert in a world that so encourages people to be extroverts. Seriously, look around and often, the extrovert is portrayed as successful. Whereas, the introvert isn't. Maybe talk to the most trustworthy friend you have who you know is the best listener about all this? People online can only help to a certain extent really.
We are teenagers and to be popular you have to smoke or drink... I don't do any of these. Everyone is saying I'm boring for not giving in to peer pressure.
You're way too young, bro.. Once you enter your twenties, qualities that make you different from the herd are what people will appreciate the most. Just get through these few years. You're admirable for not following others.

I feel the same way about loneliness... I mean, a lot of my 'friends' don't have time to deal with my issues. And, I too want to expand my social circle outwards, to have friends beyond schoolmates. Sometimes, I feel like my life is limited to such a small bubble compared to the whole of the world.
