Is it normal that i'm in love with my step brother?

We've known each other for 3 years and we're best friends, I've always had a crush on him ever since we met
We used to hang out sooo much that my mom and his dad developed a good friendship/relationship, and now a year ago they got married, but my feelings for my old best friend still remain

Is it normal?

If he feels the same then you two should talk it out with your parents. If there is no obstacle to your relationship you should go for it. You two deserve to be happy together just like your parents. ;)

It's normal. I mean, you knew the guy before your mom and his dad started to like eachother.

Well i am there with you. I met my step brother 5 years ago. I didn't know about him at all til i was 22 years old. When i first met him he is very handsome but we had this connection like we have known eachother for years. Strange how that works. But, we have talked over the phone and texted a lot. We just got along great. But now im 27 and my brother is 30 we still feel the same. But, we talked recently about going further and we had this strong connection. I don't know what will happen after we do that. But i know we will always be there for eachother that will never change. So i would just go for it. Good luck.

You can't change how you feel just because your parents married. Besides it's not like your blood relatives.

  • Yep, but don't act on it. For both your parents' sake.
