Is it normal that i'm in love after three months?

So I've been dating this guy for 3 months. We have been pretty close friends for about 6 years now, and just recently we admitted our feelings for each other. Some people think it's weird that we feel as though were in love already even though we've only been dating for 3 months. But i believe i love him 100%. Is it normal to already have these feelings so soon?

    My sister told me a guy shows his true colors after three months. Or 3 weeks etc.

    When I was a teenager, I fell in love with my ex after knowing her for 2 weeks and we were only dating for 1 week. Young love is like a shot through the heart. Silly and foolish, ain't it?

    You've known the guy for six years, it's perfectly normal. Makes a ton of sense to me. It'd be different if you had known him like a month, then dated for three and felt that way. But, even then, if you feel something, you feel it.

    That seems normal, since you've known each other for a really long time. At least you're not like my sister who when she started dating her boyfriend said "I love you" in a week.
