Is it normal that i'm in a relationship with a guy 32 years older than me?

Hey guys,

So I've been dating this man for over a year now, and we're in love with each other. The "problem" is - He's 62 and I'm 30!
When we first started, I had reservations about the age difference. But he treats me with so much love and respect, like no other guy ever has. I trust him completely and he trusts me too. We plan on moving in soon and are excited to build a home together. We did have our share of awkward situations; like him introducing me to his son who's a few years older then me; and strangers confusing him for my father.
Sometimes I worry about the fact that we're both at different points in our lives. He's about to retire and I'm just beginning my career. But I don't let that bother me much because I love him with all my heart.

Just a disclaimer: he's NOT my sugar daddy. We both make over six figures and are financially secure and independent.

Disclaimer #2: This is a gay relationship :)

Age gaps are no problem if both parties are happy. Same whether homosexual or heterosexual.

It's completely normal! My partner is 23 years older than me, and I couldn't be happier. You can't help who you're attracted to, and as long as he makes you happy, it shouldn't matter what other people think.

If you're both both happy and consenting, then who cares! It's your business. Hope you live a happy life together!

You sound genuinely happy and that's what matters most. Also, it seems like a larger age gap is quite common in homosexual relationships.

Interesting observation! I noticed same when I used to go out and be part of the scene. Thanks for your kind words.

Thanks for your reply but I don't understand what you meant. Did you mean to write "you're"?
