It's awkward; I feel very self-conscious eating with people.

Although my table manners aren't bad, I suspect I may have an issue with chewing loudly even with my mouth closed.

    It's normal, most women and certain men feel this way, especially in Japan or countries outside of the US in general. (Not being racist or sexist here, I'm just stating a fact).

      If that's the case, then why do most people eat together, and think you're weird for wanting to eat alone?
