Is it normal that I get embarrased by my gf in public? There's only a handful of people who think she's funny and I'm only on that list half the time. She doesn't tell jokes... She's more of the kind of person who gets really, I MEAN REALLY loud and says comebacks she thinks is hilarious when really... It's not. I love her to death and she's only like this when there's other people around. But why in public? I'd rather have her do that when she's just with me so that I don't have to be so embarrassed. is this normal??

    If you are concerned enough to wonder if it's normal and you don't think it is well it's not don't like it move on

    Maybe she's just trying to impress you by trying to be funny around your friends, or whoever happens to be around. I'm a girl and I can admit I've been known to get a little more energized and loud then usual when around my boyfriend and his friends - but mainly because my nerves affect mr, and reluctantly...i do try to impress and sometimes don't even know it. But I guess I'm not bad about it because no one seems bothered by it. Maybe a polite confrontation to her about it would help, if it's a real problem. If it embarresses you though, it probably is normal. I imagine anyone would probably be embarrassed around someone who can be a little lame. :3
