It's normal. I feel the same way but about the Oklahoma City bombing. I was young when it happened and don't remember because I was 6 but when I visited the memorial a few years ago and saw everything...I was devastated and will carry that in my heart forever. I know it's not specific people like your story but I think I know how you feel =)
