He had his idea of what would make your family work best and you have yours. He could either be basing his opinions off of your strengths/weaknesses or he forgot to include your desires in his vision. Either way, you need to talk and compromise and set goals. Yes, it's normal to cry. This is something big that should probably have been communicated sooner.
