Is it normal that i'm constantly over-emotional?

Okay, so I'm a teenage girl (19) and I spend most of my time on the verge of tears, like I could easily break down the majority of the time. I know what you're thinking - that it's my hormones - but I'm not usually like this. I've been a total mess recently because of stuff going on in my life. There's no one big thing, though, it's silly little things that shouldn't matter much. Is it normal that I'm such a mess? I just don't know what to do anymore. What can I do to make myself feel better?

  • I know where your coming from, sometimes when I start thinking about other things, I feel like I could cry in the middle of class

  • I would try talking to trusting friend's, family, love one's, and so on.
Maybe letting people in "might" help, it all depends.
Or being held might help - I'm a male and I enjoy being held (no im not a little kid or manner of liking men, i just like the feeling of beinf held and not have to care).

  • This happened to me once i felt dramaticly depresed and angry when small things go wrong
But after a few unintentianol detentions (this was back in primary school) and some advice from friends and family the depresion just whent away... So just be pationt, get some advise and dont get into troble and it should be fine

  • Try to let the little things go and fix the problems you can fix. If you can't change something why worry about it?

  • When I feel sad I just go into my room, turn on some depressing music, then literally just let it all out and cry to myself. It's an easy way to remove stress and any sadness I once had is gone when I'm done. I don't know if this might work for you, but it does for me.
