I know 4 me (Im a female) I can enjoy looking at womens faces and bodies that are attractive w/o being sexual attracted to them or finding it attractive in a sexual way. Maybe this is what is going on with you looking at abs? If u have shared w/ur Mom (or is she has noticed)about looking at the abs she may have misinterpreted this as u being attracted 2 men.
