You told him you have feelings for his step brother..... Who does that???? Obviously it's affecting him so normally he behaves weird when you three are together.
He's not being an ass. Imagine if he told you he likes your stepsister (imagine you have a step sister), how would you feel, especially when the three of you are together??? I'm sure you didn't do anything to reassure him that you love him only, so he found it difficult to trust you (hence the statements "go and be with your boyfriend" and all that). He's not being an ass. Its normal that he acted that way

You like his brother but you love him.......hmmmm SMH. Anyway whatever you say. If you want to b with him (as you say), then show him he's the one you really care about. If you don't want to be with him anymore, break up with him and stop hurting him so much.
Truth is being with him won't last because you have already created a rift in the relationship by telling him you like his brother. The trust which has been broken may never be mended. He may forever doubt your feelings for him. Such a relationship may not last long.

Agreed. But she can still try to help the relationship by talking to him.
Its also the fact though, that he has to be secure enough to know that his relationship is with his girlfriend.
So I say it's on both of them.
He has to be secure in the relationship, and she could start talking to him again.
