Tell him you'd like him to cook every couple of days because you're "so done cooking for a freakin' millenia, I'll cook tomorrow". Tone of voice, really. Hard to explain over text, think the kind of tone of voice people use when they say "man, I can't believe how cold it's getting outside!" or something like that.
