Don't look at them as getting in the way, she won't think you don't care just because he's up. It's your actions and the way you treat her that will tell her you care. It would be more worrying if it didn't happen. It's healthy and your body is just getting ready, but let yours and her minds/maturity catch up. (Not that your not mature already you sound very responsible) but wait till your both ready and don't let this bother you
