Is it normal that I'm against sex?

  • It's not morally wrong to cut cheese with scissors, though, it's just impractical. Having sex without having children isn't impractical. If somebody invented a cheese that was easier to cut with scissors, or that tasted best when cut with scissors, that would be fine.

    • ButI never said having sex for pleasure is morally wrong! Impractical? *facepalm* It was just an unfortunate example... But then it would have been made to be cut with scissors. And sex without children isn't better than sex with children, anyway.

      • If it's not morally wrong, why are you against it?

        • Because I have the right to be against whatever the heck I want and I really don't care about morals and ethics. I care about things that make sense.

          • Why doesn't it make sense for people to have sex if they enjoy it?

            • Because that's not what it's for. You could just get a massage or something.

              • Uh, massages don't fill the same need as sex. If you're sexually frustrated, a massage won't help.

If you don't mean it's morally wrong and you don't mean it's impractical, what DO you mean?

Also, I think you'd be interested to know that there are health benefits to having sex, such as reducing prostate cancer risk. http://www.webmd.com/sex-relationships/features/10-surprising-health-benefits-of-sex
