I had this fear when I was little. I used to wash my hair as fast as possible so someone wouldn't have the opportunity to sneak up on me. Same when I turned on the water in the shower, I would do it fast so my back wasn't turned to the rest of the bathroom for too long. I was also paranoid there were cameras in my shower. This lasted until I was about 13.
