  • Both are completely rational - I used to feel the same. I really can't tell you how I got over it, because I don't know how I did. I still have to run upstairs to my bed after watching a horror film. You just have to believe me when I say that it will pass. I used to deal with it by listening to music while falling asleep, putting my iPod on a dock or just with my earphones. I'd also try to consume myself in a book til I fell asleep. Talking to my friends also works, text your friends until you drop off. But above all just try, try, try, and convince yourself that you're just being silly. I find that it helps imagining the same situation in the daytime. Best of luck to you!
