Is it normal that i'm afraid of getting old?

Don't worry , at 20 you have a good 30 yrs before the number actually even begins to sound old , that's a lot of living and a f'k load of fun. I'm 52 and I'm always worrying about how young most people usually think I am , gets embarrassing when they're usually 15 yrs off the mark.
Anyway don't wine away your life worry about that shit , it's a very long way off so enjoy it all and make the most of your ticket.
I have and I tell you , to have lived 3 lives in the space of 1/2 of one is a good feeling and much nicer than regrets . Although I do have some of them too.
Live it up girl , go for it.

If you make it to 70 almost all your friends are dead and you are comfortable with the thought of death.

The fear of getting old is quite common and normal. Don't spend too much time dwelling on it or life will pass you by... We are born, we live, we grow old, we die. Everything in between is what we make of it.

If it isn't too much to ask, why do you live in a nursing home if you aren't sick or old?

But most people are afraid to grow old, just look at all the plastic surgery and self help gimmicks to keep you "young." Just enjoy life and remember, growing old is a privilege denied to many.
