Is it normal that i'm afraid of garbage disposals

It's not so much a fear of garbage disposals themselves, but that I could, somehow, stick my hand down there while it's running. I refuse to live anywhere with one. If I know there's one in the room, I can't help but obsessively worry that I might impulsively stick my hand in the hole and flip the switch. I have similar fears like this pertaining to other inanimate objects, but I'll save some of my crazy for another day.

    Hmmmm, this is normal. Basicly like my fear of anythink medical. If the doctor messes up i could die.

    Everyone has their own fears. I think it just makes you who you are. I couldn't help but think of a scenario where a person sticks their hand into a garbage disposal an then is all like, "noooo! Oh no! My other arm is turning on the switch!! Such madness!!"
