Oh god, quick, undo this story before the non-gamers attack you! Really though, of course its normal, calling it an addiction makes you seem less of a gamer even because gamers already spend tons of time playing games. I remember when I played the first God of War and all I had was the demo where you were on that pirate ship in the middle of the sea and you had to fight that huge 3-headed Hyrdra. I'd say the series was the first to REALLY make you feel like a badarse by literally ripping apart bodies and limbs.
For a less violent addiction, why not try Tetris Attack/Puzzle League games? That is some fast paced fun right there.
2's more awesome than 1 coz of gameplay but 1 has a deeper story. And yea, when i play that game...whoa the feeling is phenomenal. The blood, the gore, the oh so awesome finishers...(how i wish i could play GoW3)
Is it normal that i'm addicted to god of war?
