Is it normal that I'm a woman who actively seeks out the most abusive porn (but no actual real rape scenes)? I like when they choke, slap, spank, spit on, etc. a woman, but I wouldn't like that done to me in reality. I like when the women cry and scream as they do these things and as they talk dirty to her. I also consider myself a feminist in my non-porn time, and I don't find women subservient to men or anything like that. I just enjoy watching porn with men abusing women. I'm very embarrassed about this and I haven't really told anyone. Is it normal that, as an adult woman, I only like porn that's abusive to women?

    Abuse is treating a person with cruelty or violence.
    Being rough during sex isn't abuse- whether the man is being rough to the woman or the other way around.

    We have a higher pain tolerance when sexually stimulated, as well. It's normal! You can totally be a feminist AND like rough sex. Being a feminist isn't about being superior to men. Or not letting them being superior during sex. It's about boundaries and rights being respected.

    Sometimes I feel like we have fantasies precisely because they allow us to experience what we know isn't good for us personally in real life. Fantasies let us experience what we won't experience in real life, and that is a good thing. I think it's normal :)
