First of all you need some confidence in the field. You do not need to treat this conversation topic as though it's taboo. You can talk about your inexperience to a partner, that's what you have them for!
Why not just when you are getting to know a guy tell him that you are a devout <Insert religion here>
He should understand if he has some religious background. If he doesn't then prepare for a hell of a lot of pressure to do it unless you find a very nice guy.
