Wow you're like me. I bought a guitar 11 months ago and I'm about to turn 21. My whole life has also been revolved around my mum because of her abusive relationship with my dad and I felt it was my duty to protect her anyway back to the guitar I bought it with no clue how to play it then I payed a fortune to get lessons only 2 because they're so expensive like you I feel like I'm behind in terms of life experiences when I compare myself to other people my age. I wish I had picked up a guitar earlier in life there are a lot of musical instruments that I want to learn because I think that maybe my passion. I honestly don't know who I am so right now I'm doing all these activities hobbies etc until I find something that I'm passionate about of course music is my number 1 passion it's gotten me through a lot but I have so much room for new things. Go on with the drumming and rock out try out as many new experiences as you can. No regrets.
Is it normal that I'm a late bloomer in life?
