Join some clubs that you can involve yourself in such as bands or drumming and you will make friends as well as do the things you like to do. Don't worry about going alone because its better to try then to forever wonder and want things. Also don't worry about what other people know and what you don't know, you're 21 and have plenty of time to learn whatever you want :) best of luck with your new adventures and have fun!
