The key points are great-great-grand-musicparents who influenced so many people. The Beatles, Cole Porter, Chuck Berry, Elvis Presley, Bob Marley, The Kinks. When you get back to them, there are millions of pathways back forward. Actually, if you learn about music this way, you'll find yourself noticing all kinds of family resemblances that most people miss.
