Is it normal that i'm a 22yo girl and i've never had my ears pierced?

I'm a 22-year-old girl and I've never had any piercings, including my ears. I've had a fear of needles since I was a child and still get nervous getting a shot. I have also never really worn jewelry much and don't think I would even wear earrings, and my ears would probably just close back up, so I've never seen a reason to pierce them and have never had the guts either. I have noticed that it's pretty uncommon to see a girl my age with un-pierced ears.

    Pierced ears are still okay, if you want to. But please, stay away from pierced nipples and other parts. It is gross!

    Same here. Not getting them pierced anytime soon. I say it's normal.

    You're probably better off not doing it. I had my ears pierced before only for two earring backs to get stuck in my earlobes one time. I needed surgery to get the right one out. I haven't had them pierced since.

    You need to stop comparing yourself to other people. If it makes you feel better, I rarely see people with adornments in their ears nowadays. It's was common in the 90's and early 2000's. Then it made a revival with plugs and spacers in the late 2000's/early 2010's.

    i got mine done when i was a baby. i never wear earring so i don't really see the point.

    Where I'm from most girls have their ears pierced by the time they're 6 months old... there's not really a choice but some kids don't get theirs done ever. So it's!pretty normal.
