Is it normal that i'm a 18 year old female virgin and hate it?

So I'm a virgin because Ive never found the right person to lose my virginity to. However, when people start talking about sex I feel pathetic and inexperienced. I sometimes wish I had just given up my virginity to my old boyfriend who sucked.

Is It Normal?
Help us keep this site organized and clean. Thanks!

  • Don't hate it! I lost my virginity at 18 to my boyfriend whom I'm still dating, I'm 22 now. I feel like its something special that he has of mine, although I wasn't his first. But regardless, its a good feeling knowing the first thing to ever enter my vajayjay is his beautiful penis. Yeah, tampon came after, I was scared of tampons.

  • This gets asked on this site all the time. It's normal.

  • You should do what you feel comfortable with. This isn't something other people can help you with, because nobody can tell you what makes you comfortable. If you're comfortable with losing it with someone, do it. If not, don't.

  • Easy to lose, but impossible to get back if you have that desire to be special for just one person. Don't dwell on it, there is a time for all things special, and special you may just be!

  • Well, I'm a 20 year old virgin and I'm ok with it. For some people, it just takes longer to find true love (If they desire it, that is).

  • You're still awfully young to be worried about this. You have absolutely no reason to "feel pathetic and inexperienced"; you are who you are.
But this whole "the right person" thing has me mystified. More than likely, your first won't be the one you marry, and probably not your only lover. If you really enjoy someone's company and have fun with them, if things move toward a romantic encounter, why is that bad? You don't need a committed relationship to have a love affair.
Some of the most intense and loving relationships I've had, lasted only one evening or only a few days(I travel a lot).
There's no reason to give your virginity to a jerk, but also none to hold onto it, if you are with someone you really are enjoying yourself with.

  • Fuck those stupid assholes, but not literally of course!
    :-)

  • Cling on to a guy with similar tendencies like you and ask him to fuck you, he'll most likely say yes and then you won't feel like shit anymore. You don't have to work hard to lose it, unlike what guys have to do to achieve something like this.
Also, don't listen to the fucktards within this comment section, preserving your virginity for something as stupid as marriage is literally the dumbest thing you can do as a human being.
