Sounds like you've got your head screwed on to be honest! Good for you. I think people that sleep around (largely because of peer pressure to have sex) do end up regretting it. 19 is young too. One of my close friends was a virgin until 21 and one of my old uni housemates was still a virgin at 22. It doesn't matter. I think you're looking for love rather than just sex and a opportunity to lose your virginity etc. There is a load of pressure to 'lose it' - I remember it well. I lost mine at 18 and most my friends had when they were 16 or 17 (and later felt it was too young...!) Anyway, they weren't being mean about it but they would sometimes jokingly take the mick until one day I told them to change the record! They did.
What I will say is, if an opportunity for a bit of 'fun' comes along, fine (by that I don't necessarily mean sex, I mean something like groping behind a bikeshed?! You proably have more class than that, though!) Be confident in your outlook. It sounds like you may lose it with someone you actually love and who loves you back, which is great.
Is it normal that I'm 19 years old and have zero experience with a guy
