Is it normal that i'm 19 and a virgin?

It's perfectly normal. :) I'm 21 and still a virgin. In past relationships I had no desire to be fully intimate. Nowadays I have been dating someone for almost 9 months and he and I both want to take our time to feel comfortable enough before we go the next step (he is a virgin too and we're the same age) and I feel more comfortable with him than with anybody I've been with.

So don't worry about it. I don't even know why people make such a big deal out of it, I honestly never felt pressure to have sex. In the past, I've been asked by people if I have and some have looked down on me for it if I replied "no". But in terms of how I take their reaction - I could care less that they think I'm weird or whatever for not having done it. My unfazed emotion towards the matter meant I did not feel pressured to change my personal lifestyle just to fit in. :) You'll find the right person and you'll know when you're ready!

I say if you truly love someone wait as long as you need. If they truly love you they will wait as long as they can possibly wait. What's wrong with being a virgin? Absolutely nothing! Personally, I think society has negatively affected girls into thinking it's wrong to not want to have sex. I actually consider a girl a slut if she's still a teen and has already lost her virginity. You only have it once, so why rush out?

there is nothing wrong with it. no need to rush out and have sex. its much better if you wait and have your first time be with someone you truly cre about.

im 22 and i wish i was a virgin. well i think it's different for a girl and guy but, from a guys perspective once you open pandoras box it becomes a never ending search to continue having sex. but being a virgin is completly normal. it's a choice that is completly yours to make when you are good and ready.

Don't know if it's normal but I'm the same way. Enjoy life and don't rush things. When you feel ready and comfortable it'll happen. Don't be peer pressured into something you'll regret.

I'm sorry, but I don't think still being a virgin at age 19 is normal or a good thing! By age 19, you should have lost your virginity long ago! I see it as kind of a sad and depressing thing, to be honest.

perfectly normal! your time will come whether you are interested in sex or not. there is no rush to lose it, 50% of people lose their virginities while they are not ready or it was rushed or forced. do not worry about it:)

I was 18 when I started going out with my boyfriend but i was 19 when i lost my virginity, we waited 8 months before we had sex we just did other stuff before hand until I felt comfortable enough and trusting enough of him to have sex. Loosing your virginity is about when you feel ready and comfortable with the right person there should be no pressure.

I waited until I was 27, so don't worry about it, it will happen when it's meant to happen!
