Is it normal that i love my professor so much it makes me cry?

Just to clarify, this is not romantic in any way. But she has believed in me so much & supported me and lately every single time I think about her and how great she is and how awesome she's been to me I am on the verge of tears or I actually do get teary-eyed/cry a little. I imagine it might be how someone would feel about their family member if they were really close to them. Right now I am tearing up. Is this normal/has this ever happened to you?? Or maybe it's not normal and I'm just very weird or very hormonal lately.

You mentioned "hormonal" so can I assume you are a guy? Maybe it's just a teacher/student crush?

Did you just take your final in a really awesome class that was taught by a very cool professor?

I just took the final exam in my Interpersonal Communication's course this morning, and I'm feeling kinda sad that the class is over. It's a wonderful class and the course material is so helpful, not just for liberal arts majors, or to study in conjunction with a General Psychology class, but for life as a whole! The stuff we covered in the class is helpful for anyone in work, school or anything!

I've been feeling a sad and nostalgic sense of loss. I'm very frustrated that the textbook was so God damn expensive that I had to actually rent the damn thing, because honestly I would have loved to have kept it as a sort of souvenir/handbook. Maybe I'm easily impressed, but I just loved the subject matter so much!

As far as my professor was concerned she was truly awesome and amazing! I almost NEVER call anyone amazing, but she's freaking amazing! It was a relatively face paced class, and I'm actually very lazy, but she made it so enjoyable and interactive. She managed to present the material in many different and innovative ways which really helped facilitate learning process for me.

I also wanna say that I had a very stressful situation that I ended up confiding in her about, because it interfered with my work on a project. My professor was a very sympathetic and compassionate figure for me during that time, she gave me a two day extension and even directed me to where I could go for additional help about my problem.

    I feel for you!
    ;-)

You should appreciate those teachers because you may never have another that great or helpful. You're a lucky one I'd say
