Yes I played original VII, VII: Crisis Core and watched Advent Children (6 times), Last Order and Denzel episode and loved them all. Although Cloud isn't my favourite character he's still awesome.
I personally don't like the idea of Cloud x Tifa (I ship him with Zack) but it's still better than Claerith.
If you love Cloud so much you should go to gaming/anime convention and find some FFVII fan. There is always a lot of them and if you find good Cloud cospalyer there is 80% chance he will admire Cloud as well and you both will share your love of him ^^
