im kinda the same way, but ive smoked for like 7 years now. about to graduate college and i def dont want to be 'that guy' who doesnt do shit but smoke weed and play video games just waiting for a job to come along. weed many times hinders your natural creativity (contrary to popular belief) and you dont end up doing awesome things like save up to travel the world, or find careers you think are super dope. I kinda know this bc i have older siblings and ive done internships with many people who have graduated who used to party a lot.
