Is it normal that i lost all faith in humanity?

Lately I lost all hope for humans and life itself. With everything going on in the world today I honestly dont want children. I dont want to reproduce and put my kids through this horrible world. I really believe our children and/or our grandchildren will have it the worst. Economy is becoming worse by the day, anti-religion, global warming, over population and so much more. Also, has anyone seen the way kids these days act? When i was 10 years old i didnt know half as much as my 10 year old nephew does today. The TV and media is screwing all little kids up. Girls are becoming whores and losing their virginity at a much yonger age. It seems to me that we as humans are badly failing and the world is going to come to a horrible end

    Little girl whores? What about all the man whores at a young age?? Blame them. I'm a guy and it pisses me off. Why blame it all on the chicks? Most guys just want sex anyway. So dont blame "the media" blame the way those scums were taught.

      It doesnt matter how they were taught. There are plenty of good parents whos kids end up sexually active at a very young age. Just search on this website, theres 12 and 13 year olds worried about the opposite sex. Its all the medias fault. Television, facebook, cell phones, all that makes it easier. And yes its little boys too

    Anti-religion? I'm just going to avoid mentioning that religion has been the cause of many wars and many unfortunate insidents in todays world.

    If you don't want any children of your blood, then why not adopt? They are already born and would need someone to look after them. So, instead ofbringing a new child into this world, you look after a child that is already in it and in need of a family?

    I think most people go through this at some point. Multiple times. Don't give up hope on humanity, though. Humanity is just a big collection of individuals. Making a better world starts with you affecting your little slice of the pie.

    Seriously welcome to the real world. Don't be so moved by all of the noise you are just becoming enlightened to its greater problems. More people, more technology, more waste, loss of values, etc. You only think there is a loss of these things because of context.     As you might have noticed from these comments, a lot of these people share your opinion. Why don't you guys get organized and try making a better world? Never underestimate the impact you can make.

    For starters, try volunteering. It's not that the world is crummy, that you have to be :)

    You're right. You're wrong. The world has all that but it also has magical wonderful things; new inventions, cures, discoveries... It's all what you choose to see, where you look and how you perceive. My advice: turn off the news, fast forward thru the commercials and avoid any program that has subject material that causes you discomfort!

    Religion poisons everything and if you would just pick up a history book you'd understand it. For example priests are telling Africans that condoms don't protect you from aids and on top of that condoms GIVE you aids. That's why people are anti Religion. I could go on if you want more examples
