Is it normal that i look behind the shower curtains for murderers?

Like I only do it when I have to use the bathroom. If I don't do it then I feel weird like something is going to happen. Idk....

      I read somewhere once that any woman who's seen Psycho remembers the shower scene at least sometimes when she gets in her own shower, so yeah, normal

            Yep. I've read over the years that this is a pretty common phobia, for those who have seen the flick.
            Not I on ether account. I'm not a fan of slasher flicks.

              Nor am I, the evening news is bad enough for horror. Being a survivor of violence I don't see the point of it being used as entertainment and I reckon it desensitises a lot of people to real violence.

              I saw it at the drivein with my then fiancee and was so freaked by the shower scene I made him take me home! I have watched the entire movie since and coped ok, but at 18 it scared the shit out of me

              And now I'm finishing my brekky before I take a shower ...... true! The faithful dog will let me know if anyone is lurking in there and it's clear glass anyway
