Is it normal that i like writing dark poems?

Everytime I decide to write a poem it always ends up being dark themed. For example, one was about madness, another one was losing a loved one etc. But most of the time I'm a very fun, happy, and a social person.

So is it normal?

    Don't worry too much about it, I'm pretty much the same. I even tried making love poems... yeah, still dark. I was like, WTF?

    Must just be a way to get your "dark" thoughts out:) It's one of the best ways to, since a lot of people resort to violence, etc.

    Lately, most of my poems have been about suicide. Allot of my poems have an dark edge to them. I wish I could her your poems. Just keep doing what you love:)

    When creating art and getting "Dark" result it offen Stems from personal issues.
    And since most of us have issues We tend to write dark, violent and even vulger things.

    It very normal man. If your a teen even more so.
