Alright if you feel like you need to feel taller don't go for heels go for platforms you can wear those as a man and not have society looking at you weird.
I made a rather nice pair with a pair of converse and 2 pairs of sandals that were two sizes too big and a lot of shoe glue.
Only things people say about my platforms are: Cool! or Aren't you tall enough (I'm 5'11 without them)
Agree totally!! I've been wearing 3-4 inch platform Buffalo London sneaker clogs for the last couple of months at my work (i'm a university teacher) an have had only positive comments so far, bioth from faculty as well as from students.
