Kudos to both you and your girlfriend... As for why you do what you do, it's a difficult thing to try and understand, explain, and have others do likewise..
As for myself, I am a long time married crossdresser with a very supportive, understanding, accepting, knowledgeable and helpful wife who has taught me all the traits to emulate women from presentation, to walking, standing, sitting, mannerisms, make up, hair, nails etc, and I've a very extensive wardrobe including 42 pair of HIGH HEELS.
I actually detest males per se, and adorer females and all things related to them, and I do believe this is why I became what and who I am..
Female apparel / attire is far superior to male "ca-ca", and I'm extremely please to be what and who I am..
