One of my best friends only ever goes into his bedroom to get a book or to fetch the cats. He's slept on the living room floor all his adult life. I went through a phase of it too, a couple of years ago.
I did a lot of camping growing up, though, and am used to the idea of not having a normal bed. I'm not sure where this tradition came from that we have to sleep a few feet in the air.
Is it normal that I like to sleep on the floor?

Ha! you just reminded me of Roald Dahls story of the ant eater. I still love his stories.
