I would have loved it if my ex-wife had done something like this to me. See, I have a fetish too, "wet and messy". She hated me asking her to get wet with me in the shower even though she knew how turned on wet clothes made me. She refused to even try the "messy" aspect of it. I asked and asked if she had any sort of "hot button" that she wanted me to do for her and all I ever got were blank looks like I was crazy.
After we split, I learned that she was in the extreme minority, not only in claiming not to have anything, but in not thinking that giving yourself over to your loved one's desires is just something you do and it isn't selfish to hold back.
