Is it normal that i like the taste of blood

Well it started when I was about 13/14 years old and I cut my knee and I just adored the taste of the blood . when I was 14 I started my period and I could smell the blood on my sanitary pad and so I sucked it and the taste of the blood was sensational and sometimes I try biting my mum and my friends to get blood but they always back away ...... Do you think I'm weird or a vampire or something ?

    Menstrual blood is delicious, and so is normal blood. I wouldn't ever bite someone but I eat raw/undercooked bloody beef as often as I can and eat my period blood every month.

    This has been asked so many times. Blood tastes horrible so I'm not sure why it appeals to so many people. It tastes like coins. Lick some coins.

    Menstrual blood is not even mainly composed of blood. It's mostly internal tissue and what not falling out so if you really do do that, that is absolutely disgusting.

      I feel the same way as the person who wrote this post, except I don't go as far as sucking my period "blood".
      Coins have been touched by so many people. Yuck. It does taste the same, but it's not a substance, so it's rather different.

        That is true about the coins though. I suppose as long as it's your own blood and not somebody elses than it's safe.

    I'm the same way, but I don't drink the blood on my pads. Sometimes I purposely get hurt so I can taste the blood.
