Is it normal that i like the smell and taste of tonsil stones?

I don't know why, but every since I was younger I've always loved the smell and taste of tonsil stones. Everytime the subject of tonsil stones comes up in conversation my friends always act disgusted by their smell while I'm sitting there, not relating at all, can anyone clarify why I'm not bothered by them and if this is normal?

How does thr subject of tonsil stones even come up? Unless it is medical students or doctors, that is just not something people think about. I never heard of it til today.

I had my tonsils out when I was like 7 years old.

Doesn’t have any tonsils. Thinks about laccoliths and laccoliths related discussions constantly.

      You’ll never know. Freak.

It is seldom the occasion this subject is brought up, but it has happened. One of my friends complained about them quite regularly, about how they taste bad and how she couldn't support the smell, most of my mates agreed so I just concluded that tonsil stones are supposed to smell bad and taste, while I'm not bothered by them, I think they smell and taste quite nice actually.

Tonsil stones are so nasty in smell and taste. I used to think it was small pieces of undigested food coming back up from my stomach but then I found out It was very much tonsil stones. Ever since I have been completely disgusted by them but love getting them out when I have had them.

I love to chow down on tonsil stones. I can see how people can dislike their smell and taste but I loved them. I had an ingrown toenail that swole up and smelled like death but I loved draining the pus and lapping it up.

  • Can't say I have ever tasted or smelt tonsil stones, although I have had tonsillitis 4 times. Side note.. I used to be described antibiotics for tonsillitis. The last time I had tonsillitis I didn't take antibiotics, I just let nature run its course. It went away and I never got it again, has been over 10 years now.
