Is it normal that I like my wife to control my life and then physically punish me, with a whip or cane, if I fail to live up to her expectations? She makes me do the housework and then puinishes me if it's not done well enough and I love it.

I know sadists and masochists can be of either sex, it's just a weird "gender role" thing I have in my head. I know it's shared, but I feel aggression to be more a male trait. And the majority of sadists are male, so there is some truth in my notions, not much but some.
More women than you'd think, but it's not that simple. Many have to be talked into it as they are quite nervous towards the idea, so it's usually done with partners. Though I have met women that were fearless from the start.
A silver tounge is something most sadists have, very manipulative.

Thank you for your reply. You think it's adorable, others think it's "faggy". I'm really fascinated by the feedback which I've been getting. She certainly does like all sorts of control, including financial. In western society financial control is probably the most complete for of control. We have joint bank accounts, for my salary to be paid into but she keeps all my bank-cards so that I never have a penny for myself. If she sends me shopping I always have to give her the itemised receipts and I dare not buy anything which she hasn't asked for.
Sounds like a fetish cause I hate to be punished and I'm pretty sure most people don't enjoy being punished and or bossed around.

We I guess veering towards the strict and dominant. In those days physical punishment of children was quite usual. My parents kept a cane on a high shelf above one of the windows in our house. If I displeased them they'd make me drop my trousers and use it on my buttocks. Sometimes taking turns. This continued well into my teenage years.
