think about it from her angle too. majority of the students that a teacher comes across are the default type: little interest/enthusiasm, socially aloof, average talent. so it must be exciting/refreshing for her to have a student like you who stands out in every way.
I'm not undermining the value of her or the connection you have with her. I'm sure she's as cool as you say she is. but you should be aware that what you feel for her is platonic. and did you know where the phrase platonic love came from? Plato. he coined it so he could describe the nonsexual love/admiration between... wait for it... him and his students. a lot of young students -- hell a lot of adults nowadays misunderstand/mislabel this feeling.
