  • Thats totally normal. Just cause they are family doesnt mean you have to like them. When you are old enough to move out, you dont ever have to see them if you dont want to. Its up to you. My entire family is really close and we never fight or have any problems except for one brother is always the weird one, having problems, causing drama, making stupid decisions. I love my whole family, but I just completely ignore him.

  • You can choose your friends, not your family. However, family will (almost always) be there for you in your time of need and they also stay with you through out your life. Friends are normally there for awhile since most of the time they grow apart or some of them will cause unneeded drama.

    • I agree, you can choose friends, not family. But everyone is different, right? It all depends on you.
My sibling loves her friends more than family. She picks who she hangs out with and who she shares personal feelings with. She doesn't feel that the family would understand.
On the other hand, love my family more than friends. They don't even have to understand me or care for me, I will always be there. My friends can never compete with the bond I have for my family. Hahaha, sorry friends!
