Ever since I was younger I always fold my toast and I still do it now, I was just wondering if it is normal or not.

  • Folding presents the problem of crumb loss from the toast, ultimately impairing the flavour.
    It's a risky game you're playing.

  • So you make the toast, butter it, and then fold it? Rather than just cutting it in half? I wouldnt say it normal, but I see nothing wrong or really weird about that.

      • Lol, some people like to be civilized and eat a half a piece of toast at a time!

        • But.... WHY? A toast is toast is a toast. How much more civilized can you get than making toast in a device that uses fucking electricity and spreading industrialized artificial products on it?

  • It's not as weird as it sounds. When I was a teenager I went through a phase of eating pizza with a knife and fork.

  • The only times I can recall folding my bread was when I used the bread slice as an alternative for hot dog rolls. It works okay. I prefer to cut my bread vertically.
