I lied to my friends about losing my virginity (only to 2 friends) is that okay? I feel a little guilty and I try not to think about it, and I think that now people will get off my back about sex etc. Is what I did wrong?
Nothing wrong with it, in my opinion. People can be cruel when it comes to someone being a virgin when it is none of heir business.
I've done the same before, yeah there is guilt associated with it. But in my opinion, at least you can pretend that the burden has been lifted. How good of friends are you with these people anyways? Cause the people I lied to weren't my best friends, just regular friends, one of whom I don't like too much.
Personally though I don't think what you did was wrong, it was just a reaction as a result of societal pressure. You didn't hurt anybody, give it a few days and the guilt will pass.
I hate being a virgin at 21, I'm very ashamed by it, I understand completely why people lie about it, I much prefer staying quiet about it though, I don't like lying.
No need to feel that way. Someone foolish enough to ask another about their sex life shouldn't even receive a response.
I can see why, nothing worse than the pitiful or patronising kitten from shrek look I get after saying I'm a virgin.

Maybe if you worried less about being a virgin you'd find it easier to find sexual partners.
It's just as bad as ridiculing someone for being sexually active and/or liking sex and refusing to pretend they don't. Shaming comes in all flavors, isn't it lovely? Sarcasm, of course. Screw them (not literally) and don't do anything you don't want to. It's your decision and your business, not theirs.
